PROJECT WORKFORCE GUIDE

Powerline project workforce planning.

Plan Canadian powerline project staffing with structured roles, qualifications, timing, crew demand and mobilization through Lineman Canada.

FROM HEADCOUNT TO CREW REQUIREMENT

Project staffing works better when demand is structured.

A request for “several linemen” is difficult to match. A structured project requirement can identify roles, quantities, dates, work types, qualifications, shifts or rotations, location, travel expectations and mobilization constraints.

1. Define Roles

Separate journeyperson, apprentice, foreperson, equipment or other workforce needs rather than treating every position as interchangeable.

2. Define Requirements

Record the experience, work types, licences, qualifications and other project requirements that actually matter.

3. Define Timing

Start date, duration, rotation, travel and mobilization timing can be as important as technical experience.

4. Review Matches

Use structured worker profiles and expressed interest to narrow the workforce pool without duplicating records.

5. Mobilize

Selected workers can continue into existing Lineman Canada mobilization and field-status workflows.

6. Reuse Data

Company, worker and project information should remain reusable for future workforce demand.
